Preparation and delivery of orders
How long will it take to prepare my order?
Sweet Studio Melbourne makes all sweets to order to ensure you receive the freshest product possible. As such, please allow 7 business days from date of order before your order is sent. If you require an urgent order, please contact us directly at hello@sweetstudiomelbourne.com.
What delivery options are available?
1. Postage - We post our cookies Australia wide via Australia Post. We are unable to send cupcake and donut boxes via the post as they are too fragile. All parcels are currently being sent via Express Post at a flat fee of $12. All orders over $150 are delivered via Express Post free of charge.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Once an order has been dispatched, it will be sent via Australia Post from Melbourne. All mail is currently being sent via Express Post. For delivery times, please visit Australia Post's postage calculator & delivery time guide here. Please note, due to COVID-19 there are major delays within the delivery network. Please factor this in when placing an order.
I need an order by a particular date, what should I do?
If you need an order by a particular date, please contact us to ensure there is enough time for your order to be made and delivered. In most cases we require 7 business days to turn around orders (+ postage time) but we may be able to get the order out sooner.
I have not received my order by my required date, will I receive compensation?
Sweet Studio Melbourne posts orders out within the delivery guidelines of Australia Post. As such, if an order does not arrive by the required date we will not offer refunds or compensation. This is due to delivery issues being completely out of our control once the package has been dispatched.
Do you take responsibility for cookies damaged in the post?
No, we do not accept responsibility for cookies that have been damaged while in transit. We endeavour to take extra care when packing your cookies but cannot guarantee that none of them will be damaged while in transit.

What type of biscuit is the cookie?
Our regular cookies are made from vanilla shortbread. During the Christmas period we also make gingerbread biscuits. If you are after a particular flavour, please contact us to arrange.
What are the ingredients?
Flour, butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking power & salt
Are your cookies gluten, egg and dairy free?
Our shortbread recipe is not gluten, egg or dairy free.
Do your cookies come wrapped?
Yes, we wrap all individually ordered cookies in a clear cellophane bag. Cookies within our proposal boxes are all wrapped in a clear cellophane bag.
Do you have a vegan or gluten free option?
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer vegan or gluten free products.
How long do the cookies last?
Our cookies have a shelf life of 2 months.
